JIS from the eyes of the parents
|One Morning at Jain International School…
As a part of Value Education, I was invited to speak to students of the Primary and Secondary classes. The topic was “Hard work & Time Management”. As a parent, it was a rare opportunity to interact with such young students and influence their minds, which the teachers get to do every day with our children. I was impressed by the patience displayed by the students in attentively listening to what I had to say. A single meeting by a parent can influence them! Sounds farfetched, but my experience ssays – children learn by following the examples and role models in their lives, and regular reinforcement certainly shapes their lives. So, Value Education has a very important place in overall education system, and the efforts by JIS on this front shall be applauded. I hope that the school would do even more on this, given the general despair about ills & moral values plaguing our country & society. Also, I hope many more parents are invited, and that parents actively participate in this serious purpose of instilling the right values in the young and tender minds whether in school or at home.

Parents’ search for the right abode of learning ends when they find the best place where their ward gets the world of opportunity to grow, evolve and bloom optimally.
We had an intriguing and challenging experience trying to identify the most optimal environment of learning for our child, when we shifted base from Odisha to Maharastra.
Jain International School was the answer to all our queries and concerns. With the right blend of discipline and warmth; with the varied opportunities in curricular and co-curricular activities; with a promise of creating an optimal environment for building creative, analytic and thinking minds and providing the right environment to meet all these challenges.
We appreciate the efforts of all the people involved within the system-the School Management, the Principal, the administrative personnel, the teaching as well as non-teaching staff.
Wishing Jain International School many decades of success, fame and achievement in all spheres- academics, sports, cultural activities and other co-curricular activities.

Sending my daughters, Anika and Rianna Banerjee to Jain International from this year was one of the best decisions I have made. To see my children get ready for school every morning with zest and vigor and to receive them from the bus with a smile on their face makes me a very happy parent. The education, ambience, the friendly, approachable, capable and confident teachers always ensure the children are taken care of and never fail to give individual attention to ensure all the children excel in every manner. It is an honour for me to be able to voice my thoughts in this issue of The Jewel.
Thank you and Best Wishes Always
