The Jain International School and Little Jewels Kindergarten proudly hosted their grand Biennial Concert, MÉLANGE, a vibrant celebration of talent, creativity and life lessons. This event showcased the performances of the Primary (Std. I & II) & Pre-Primary sections of The Jain International School and L.KG & U.KG of Little Jewels Kindergarten. It was an enchanting blend of storytelling, dance, music and drama.
The evening commenced with the classic tale “The Three Little Pigs”, which emphasized hard work and resilience. The skit was scripted by Principal Mrs. Anmol Mukherjee and Ms. Sampada Narvekar. The original background score, composed by Principal Mrs. Anmol Mukherjee and Mr. Vibhakar Vaidya, added a unique touch. Students Swara Tiwari and Dyanai Puri (Std.III) lent their voice to the melodious jingles in the act. The students of Nursery to U.KG of The Jain International School performed enthusiastically. Ms. Sampada Narvekar, Ms. Nidhi Tiwari, Ms. Deepali Joshi, Ms. Roshni Nagdeve and Ms. Pooja Mishra, ably guided by Ms. Fatema Vali, trained the children.
The School’s Annual Report was presented by the Principal, Mrs. Anmol Mukherjee, which highlighted the achievements of students in academics, sports, arts and other areas to show the holistic development of students.
A skit on the timeless tale of “Beauty and the Beast” was performed by the U.KG students of Little Jewels Kindergarten. It showcased a story of love, sacrifice and inner beauty. The teachers who trained the students were Ms. Manpal Sadal, Ms. Kanak Deoras, Ms. Sidhi Trivedi, Ms. Pallavi Raipure, Ms. Mahima Shinde, Ms. Vinita Sharma, Ms. Yusra Ali, Ms. Alfiya, Ms. Aarti Mukar and Ms. Meenakshi Mukherjee.
The Guest of Honour, Mrs. Anuja Sharma, praised the young performers for their grace and confidence on stage. She emphasized that children today have numerous opportunities to grow and applauded the dedication of the parents and teachers. She also acknowledged how the two schools are nurturing this growth, which was evident in the students’ impressive performances.
The little ones of L.KG of Little Jewels presented an interpretation of the popular birthday game ‘Queen of Sheba.’ This act was marked by delightful performances of eurythmics and bhangra as well as a circus act. Ms. Devanshi Harkhani, Ms. Sanjana Kumar, Ms. Snehal Wasule, Ms. Pranju Dhotekar, Ms. Sakshi Navalekar, Ms. Simran Kaur , Ms. Smita Hiranwar, Ms. Ponam Kamnani, Ms. Pratigya Bahoriya, Ms. Niviya Bamhne and Ms. Meenakshi Mukherjee trained the children. The vibrant props were meticulously crafted by the Art and Craft Team of Ms. Kanchan Amge and Ms. Payal Bhasin. The seamless audiovisual experience was managed by the Graphics and Sound Team of Ms. Ashwini Bhanode and Ms. Kanak Deoras.
In his address, the Secretary of the Trust, of The Jain International School, Mr. Tushar Badjate, praised the wonderful performances of the little ones on stage, saying their hard work was truly commendable. He also appreciated the Principal, Mrs. Anmol Mukherjee, for her leadership and the teachers for their efforts in training the students to perform confidently on the stage.
The students of Std. I & II of The Jain International School presented stories based on the Panchatantra, each of which delivered a moral and a valued life skill. The Panchatantra Song was beautifully written by Mr. Mithilesh Pathak, composed and sung by Mr. Prit Chure. Their combined efforts made this song truly special for the Panchatantra skit.
The teachers who trained the children for the various performances were Ms. Fatema Vali, Ms. Shweta Mohana, Ms. Poonam Pandey, Ms. Priya Tiwari, Ms. Rini Nagdeote, Ms. Vaishali Tambe, Ms. Satya Manasa, Ms. Pranakshi Upadhyay, Ms. Rajlaxmi Singh, Mr. Arshad Khan, Mr. Yash Kapta, Mr. Praful Potle, Ms. Ruby Singh, Mr. Prit Chure, Mr. Vivek Khapre, Mr. Shashi Parmar and Mr. Vibhakar Vaidya.
The grand finale, an energetic dance performance, brought together on stage students from previous performances to showcase the theme “Mélange”. During the performance, a drone flew over the audience and showered flowers, making the programme truly spectacular.
The show was compered by Mr. Mithilesh Pathak and Ms. Anita Mehta, who kept the audience informed and engaged throughout the event.
The programme concluded with the exuberant rendition of the National Anthem.
