JIS from the eyes of the parents

One Morning at The Jain International School…

As a part of Value Education, I was invited to speak to students of the Primary and Secondary classes. The topic was “Hard work & Time Management”. As a parent, it was a rare opportunity to interact with such young students and influence their minds, which the teachers get to do every day with our children. I was impressed by the patience displayed by the students in attentively listening to what I had to say. A single meeting by a parent can influence them! Sounds farfetched, but my experience ssays – children learn by following the examples and role models in their lives, and regular reinforcement certainly shapes their lives. So, Value Education has a very important place in overall education system, and the efforts by JIS on this front shall be applauded. I hope that the school would do even more on this, given the general despair about ills & moral values plaguing our country & society. Also, I hope many more parents are invited, and that parents actively participate in this serious purpose of instilling the right values in the young and tender minds whether in school or at home.

Jai Hind,

Sending my daughters, Anika and Rianna Banerjee to The Jain International from this year was one of the best decisions I have made. To see my children get ready for school every morning with zest and vigor and to receive them from the bus with a smile on their face makes me a very happy parent. The education, ambience, the friendly, approachable, capable and confident teachers always ensure the children are taken care of and never fail to give individual attention to ensure all the children excel in every manner. It is an honour for me to be able to voice my thoughts in this issue of The Jewel.

Thank you and Best Wishes Always
