In his address the Chairman Mr. Anuj Badjate expressed immense pride in the students’ outstanding performances. He lauded the Principal for her visionary leadership, the dedicated teachers for their hardwork and the students for their perseverance. He emphasized that balancing academics with co- curricular activities has always helped students develop creativity, teamwork and confidence.

Climate Change and India

A short skit on our responsibility towards climate change was performed by students of Std.VII and VIII. It highlighted sustainable practices like renewable energy, recycling and the four R’s—Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Recover. The skit was conceptualized by Mrs. Anmol Mukherjee and incharge teachers were Ms. Priya Venkatraman, Ms. Rana Khatri and Ms. Anita Mehta.

Indian weddings are our biggest celebrations. An exuberant dance performance on Indian weddings followed. Students were trained by Ms.  Saraswati Kushwaha and Ms. Muskaan Yadav for this lively act.

The hospitality of Indians was then depicted in a skit titled “Atithi Devo Bhava.” Trained by Ms. Megha Tandulkar and Ms. Vaishali Bhoyar, students portrayed the importance of welcoming guests warmly and fostering social connections.

Aaj Ki Bhartiya Sena

As the evening progressed, a tribute via a Hindi drama, staged by the students of Std. IX, was paid to the Indian Armed Forces. The drama also highlighted the growing role of women in the army. During the drama, a drone carried the national flag to honor the soldier who gave his life for the country. This moment touched the hearts of the audience and filled them with patriotism. This wonderful drama was written by Mr. Mithilesh Pathak ably aided by Ms. Chanchala Kumari and Ms. Anju Sinha.

Indians Contribution to Science, Mathematics and Astronomy…….. A UV Act

The focus then shifted to India’s contributions to science and mathematics with a UV Act. This segment honored the works of Maharshi Kanad, Maharshi Sushruta and Brahmagupta depicting their groundbreaking contributions. The act was creatively directed by Ms. Aisha Sheikh, Ms. Sunita Marcel, Ms. Ritu Sharma and Mr. Pramod Shrinagre.

Brass Band Performance

Music continued to be the showstopper as the school’s Brass Band took center stage. Equipped with premium UK-based instruments, students delivered a stellar performance under the guidance of Mr.Vibhakar Vaidya. The band played “Ode to Joy,” “Aura Lee,” a clarinet duet and a unique improvisation of “Mary Had a Little Lamb.”

Our Festivals

Festivals, an integral part of India’s cultural heritage, were beautifully showcased through a series of dance performances.Ganesh Chaturthi, Garba, Dhunuchi Naach, Durga Puja, Dusshera, Diwali and Lathmar Holi were depicted. During the Holi dance, a drone showered flowers on the audience.The students were trained by Ms. Saraswati Kushwaha and the  teachers incharge were Ms. Shika Bhartia, Ms. Rashmi Saklani, Ms. Prachi Dhakate,Ms. Karishma Katariya, Ms. Mona Markan, Ms. Sheetal Puri and Ms. Jiby Thomas.
